When Ouzo Idoniko was created, the pursuit was not simply to add another tag to this very large category. The intention was to offer consumers a unique experience, a high quality ouzo with its own identity and character.
The slower and most costly production process was chosen, with 100% distillation in traditional copper still. This means that, unlike what usually happens, when only 20% of the alcohol is distilled along with the flavorings, the estate has the total amount of alcohol passed through the still. Of course, along with a carefully selected mixture of seeds, fruits and aromatic woods, dominated by Macedonian anise.
