Founded in 1879 by C.M. Dedman on the banks of the Kentucky River, Kentucky Owl, The Wise Man’s Bourbon, has a long and storied history that was interrupted by Prohibition. In 1916, nearly 250,000 gallons of Kentucky Owl, were seized by the government and later disappeared in a mysterious warehouse fire. Every drop of this legendery bourbon was gone…until now. One hundred years later C.M. Deman’s great-great-great grandson Master Blender Dixon Dedman, has resurrected the family bourbon in a series of hand-selected, artfully blended, ultra-premium bourbons and rye whiskey.
