A golden evening was enjoyed by friends of Zivana LOEL on Wednesday, 25th of November at Xavi Lounge Bar & Restaurant in Limassol, during the presentation of the new Zivana Gold and Zivana Red, two products added to the range of the LOEL distillery.

Officials and associates of LaikoCosmos had the chance to enjoy the two new flavours of Zivana LOEL, which is at the leading manufacturer of aged Zivana due to the expertise, the careful selection of raw materials and love for the Cypriot tradition.

Zivana Gold is distilled from the best local grape varieties, Xynisteri and Black, is aged in a French oak barrel for seven to eight years, where a small dose of pure mountain honey is added. The smooth golden colour and the light taste, traits of Zivana Gold, are the result of this aging process and the assimilation of the natural wood and honey aromas.

In contrast, Zivana Red is kept underground in stainless steel containers for two to three months, where ground cinnamon is added which gives Zivana Red its aroma and colour.

Accompanied by live Greek music, Participants had the opportunity to sample new signature cocktails with Zivana Red as the base and taste “tweaked” Cypriot flavours, by Kostas Nikolaides, the owner of the Alchemy Bartending School. In support to the “Poto me Metro” program (or Drink in Moderation), there was a bus available from Nicosia to Limassol and back for the safe transfer of friends and guests.

You can find the new Zivana Gold and Zivana Red in 50cl bottles in select liquor stores, bars, and the Larnaca and Paphos airports.
